How often have you thought or even heard someone comment, "...if they only, really knew... they wouldn't think of me the same or love me..."? It is so easy to get a sense of insecurity or shame. Yet, often times, we are our own worse enemy and allow Satan to rob us of the joy God deeply desires for our lives. However, the wonderful thing is that God loves us unconditionally - no matter what our shame. Sometimes, we can get so caught up in hiding from ourselves and others that we miss the opportunities of God's blessings in our lives. The truth is, there is nothing that God doesn't already know about us... in fact, he knew everything before we were even created. He knows even the tiniest of hair on your head. The beauty is... he still loves each and every one of us - UNCONDITIONALLY. Nothing we do or say can change that love ~ just as a father loves his son... God loves us that much more. Psalms 139 talks just about this... how he knows all and loves us so much that he seaches even the deepest parts of our hearts and even states in vs. 24 "See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting". I want to encourage you to pick up your bible today and read about God's dedication to you in Psalms 139. Then thank your heavenly Father for loving you enough to reveal himself to you through His Word and in your life. Reflectiton: How is God using his Word in your life? Are you pulling away or running from all that He desires for you? Allow God to search you and ask Him to reveal to you what needs to be mended.
